We are so excited to be working on some new developments at the New York State Cooperative and Experiential Education Association this year.
Historically, NYSCEEA has been a conference association focused on an annual meeting of members for a day or days of education, training, and professional development to support career professionals and experiential learning.  Last year, our Conference Experiential Education: Looking Through a New Lens in Syracuse explored alternatives to internships, and innovative best practices around experiential learning. As the cornerstone of the NYSCEEA experience, we’re looking forward to seeing you all at our 2020 Conference! Keep an eye on the Conference page for information and registration.
Building on groundwork laid over the past couple of years, the 2021 Board of Directors is actively working on adding value to NYSCEEA throughout the year and beyond the Conference, such as new benefits of membership and new ways to connect with your member colleagues. Most importantly, we’re going to need your feedback throughout the year to give you the best NYSCEEA experience that we can. Members, please keep an eye out for surveys and other ways to give us your thoughts.
If you are not currently a NYSCEEA member, please consider joining! Though we are a statewide organization, NYSCEEA is a tightknit community of hardworking and dedicated individuals, and I am sure that you’ll find it an enjoyable and enriching experience. If you’re just exploring and want to learn more, please feel free to join our Listserv – it’s open to all! Drop us an email and we’ll add you to the conversation.
Wishing you all a wonderful 2020 supporting the careers of college students all across the state!
All the best,

Lyn Leis
